I am Robert Prime, and publishing.co.uk is my company. I built it after going through Amazon’s upload-rejection-fix cycle on my own book, Google. Panic. Repeat., and deciding that no author should have to learn KDP’s formatting rules the way I did.
What publishing.co.uk does
I turn manuscripts into KDP-ready print PDFs and Kindle EPUBs, from £69, typically back to you within 24 hours, with free revision rounds included. Around that sit the things a first book actually needs: an Amazon listing that converts, A+ Content, an author website, and a full launch for authors who want the whole thing done properly.
The site also carries more than 400 free guides on UK self-publishing, every one written by me. They exist because most self-publishing advice online is American, out of date, or written by someone selling the thing they recommend. I sell things too, so I declare it on the page whenever a guide touches a service I offer, and I print the vendor’s own price with the date I checked it rather than a figure from memory.

How I work
I serve UK-based self-published authors on Amazon KDP: first novels, non-fiction, memoir, children’s picture books. The UK specifics that American guides skip (Nielsen ISBNs, legal deposit, VAT, metric trim sizes, the fact that the UK and US Kindle stores have different categories) are the part I care most about getting right.
